The Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium is pleased to invite you to Ghent for a 3-day lightning-focused event. The meeting will be held at the Yalo Hotel, ideally located in the heart of the city center. Please note that the ELDW (day 2) is open to everyone, while the Vaisala Day (day 1) and EUCLID meeting (day 3) are restricted to Vaisala customers and EUCLID members. Participants are responsible for their own hotel arrangements. While Yalo Hotel is an option, there are also many other accommodations nearby in the city center.
For international participants arriving at Brussels Airport, take a direct train toward Knokke and get off at Gent-Sint-Pieters station (≈1 hour). From there, board tram T1 or T3 toward Gentbrugge and get off at Vogelmarkt (≈20 minutes). It is then just a short walk to the Yalo hotel.
