Venue
The meeting will be held from Monday August 27th (1:30 am) to Wednesday August 29th (4:00 pm) in the Charpak amphi. The room is located close to the corridor 22 of the Pierre and Marie Curie campus (see map or https://events.oma.be/indico/event/51/picture/18.pdf with the access map (Plan d’accès à l’amphi Charpak du LPNHE)).
Note that for security concerns, all luggages and bags are controlled visually before entering the campus.
The Pierre and Marie Curie campus can be accessed by Metro lines 7 and 10 (stop Jussieu, see map at http://www.plandeparis.info/metro-paris/metro-paris.html).
Paris has two international airports, Charles de Gaulle (CDG, North) and Orly (ORY, South), from which the city center can be accessed by multiple ways (see https://www.ratp.fr/en/titres-et-tarifs/airport-tickets). The taxi ride CDG-Paris is 50-55 euros and 30-35 euros for ORY-Paris.
A visit of the Versailles castle (http://en.chateauversailles.fr/plan-your-visit/visit-routes-and-advice) and of the LATMOS facilities (http://www.latmos.ipsl.fr/index.php/fr/) will be held on August 30, 2018.Transportation will be provided.
We will tour the LATMOS on Friday, August 31, 2018 for a Training and Brainstorming day around projects (real or future). Transportation will be provided.
