During the SWIC, trainees get the basics of Space Weather for operators, know about the potential impact on military and civilian technology and understand the space weather bulletin and products provided by the STCE and other institutes.
In a next step, during a Post-SWIC, the translation of the SWIC content to products and services for the end-user of the participating organisations should be made.
The Post-SWIC is a 1-day course which follows the Space Weather Introductory Course and is a collaboration between the Dutch Defence and the Solar-Terrestrial Centre of Excellence, i.e. the Belgian Space Weather centre.
