Description

Impulsive Solar Energetic Particle (SEPs) Events are known to accelerate particles of different species. One particular characteristic of these impulsive events is the enhancement of the 3He/4He ratio, on what we call 3He-rich events. 3He events are usually associated with Type III bursts and non-relativistic electron events. It is speculated that solar jets are the impulse events that lead to acceleration of 3He. In this work, we present an in-depth analysis of a 3He-rich event detected by Solar Orbiter.
