Description
This poster presents the results of the End-User Engagement Working Group of the European Space Weather and Space Climate Association (E-SWAN) that were partially obtained through two Topical Discussion Meetings (TDMs) organized during the European Space Weather Week (ESWW) in 2023 and 2024. The meetings focused on fostering dialogue between space weather end-users and service providers.
The poster will highlight four specific use cases from end-users, including insurance providers, power system operators, and satellite operators and will also showcase available capabilities and solutions from existing space weather service providers.
Through structured discussions and interaction with stakeholders that included a survey we identified persistent gaps in communication, expectations, and service accessibility between the two stakeholder groups. The poster reports on these findings and outlines proposed next steps to enhance collaboration, improve mutual understanding, and support the co-development of effective space weather services.
