Description

Since completion of the LOTUS report, the SBUV instrument team has begun to reassess the radiance-level calibration applied within the retrieval algorithm, which is used to inter-calibrate instruments in the series since 2000 (NOAAs 16-19 and SNPP OMPS Nadir Profiler). We present the current status of these efforts and implications for the SBUV Merged Ozone Data (MOD) record and other potential merged data sets incorporating the SBUV measurements.
