Overview

We are pleased to invite you to attend a one-day meeting of potential users for the new Horizon 2020 project GAIA-CLIM. The project aims to improve our ability to use ground-based and sub-orbital observations to characterise satellite observations for a number of atmospheric ECVs.  The key GAIA-CLIM outcomes will be a virtual observatory facility of co-locations and their uncertainties and a report on gaps in capabilities or understanding, which shall be used to inform subsequent Horizon 2020 program activities.

The meeting will be held on 6th October at CNR, Tor Vergata, Roma, Italy. The focus of the meeting shall be on collecting user requirements and on helping identify and prioritise gaps that could either be addressed by the project or should be included in the final gap analysis report.
