Social event on Monday May 15, 2023:

To give you a warm welcome in Brussels, we have planned for informal social events for the evening. For now you can choose either option:

(1) city walk with Mahesh, looking at some street art and monuments in the center of Brussels

or

(2) a private group visit to an art exhibit focusing on environmental themes where artists displays their work done in collaboration with scientists. The event is titled "SEAS & OCEANS" - themed immersive & interactive art exhibitions of about 40 international artists. Collaborative work between artists and scientists for science-inspired artworks and data visualization. The location is the cultural center in the historic Demeuldre Establishment, an old porcelain factory with nationally registered Art Nouveau architecture. Address: Chau. de Wavre 143, 1050 Ixelles. For more information see attachment sent with the invitation email.

Please select one of the options in the registration form if you plan to join. Note that option 2 will only be provided if there are at least 25 registrations. You need to pay about 10 Euro for Option 2 at the art center while option 1 will be for free.
